Happy Thanksgiving to all those who celebrate it. Three good NFL games on ASN wee hours of Friday morning, Baltimore/Pittsburgh being the best. Enjoy! Pete

I am not americanbut really like TG, it is very inclusive as it is nota Christian holiday, Jews,Muslims, all are included. It is based on the old British harvest festival which used to be a big event in the churches in the UK.
We plough the fields and scatter the good seed on the land but it is fed and watered by god'salmighty hand. How does it go from there, I do remember it finishes with --- refreshing rain.

Thanks, is a very important day over in the U.S. I sort of miss the Turkey dinner and family getting together. I know some places here in Hua Hin will have a dinner, I will have to check it out!

My favorite holiday! Any day devoted to food, drink, and football is my kind of holiday!!

Small family gathering these days vs the 40-50 we used to have.

Mine too migrant. It's one of the things I've really missed while living here. It's like Christmas (food and family wise) but without the pressure of trying to figure out what gifts to buy for everyone and as you said with the added advantage of watching some great football games (with the top button of your pants undone) on the couch with close friends and family after the meal. In the "good ole days" I was a 49'ers fan and my brother was a die hard Cowboys fan and whenever either were playing, sparks would fly! :D

Early morning football and a buffet with mostly strangers is just not the same. :(
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
