Great night and one of the best evening's entertainment that I've had in HH for a few years
Well organised and very well attended.
Arrived early (about 16.45)
Army in charge of Parking and no hastle
We had booked seats as VIPs - as I've said a most overused bunch of letters in this country
But........The THB 1,000 got you a good seat with uninterrupted view of the stage, freeflow wine / beer/ water and endless food supply - via a provided wristband.
The THB 500 got you a more remote seat and food - drinks.
Tee shirts were on sale for those who wanted.
Before the onslaught I could have done without the quasi country & western cowboy stuff (Rhinestone Cowboy, Mississippi etc) - but then the locals love that stuff - bring on the rock says I.........
Once we got to the decent stuff, Tang Kay Rumble, featuring Khun Krip Rojanasatien and friends including Mahidol University Jazz Orchestra with Strings as reported previous by hhfarang the place lit up. Loads of old fogies dancing and foot tapping by olde phartes like me. VERY enjoyable.
Beethoven getting rolled over Then the customary auction for charity (Somebody paid THB60,000 for what was an extremely average painting

Then - guess what - ol' blue eyes Mr.T actually won a raffle prize.

Things then went to a Jam session with local guitar hero Olarn
Olarn - jammin'
It went on to around midnight - we left just before as I wanted to avoid the drunken loonies who might have tried to descend HLF hill
All in all a bloody good night out which at times
might have woke up the locals - tough shit says I - bring on the rock
Will most likely be going again
