Framing paintings and photos?
Framing paintings and photos?
I've got a few familiy photos and a couple large watercolor paintings I would have liked to get framed properly. Any recommendations for where to go to get it done for a sensible price?
(A place at Market Village or another of the more central shopping malls would have been very convenient.)

There is a framing shop run by a Thai lady, in the Cha-Am Wednesday market. I believe she is also in the Tuesday market on the Klong Road near the driving range. She sells finished frames but will also do custom work. She has done excellent work for me at a very reasonable price.

Thanks, much appreciated. I'm not intimately familiar with Cha-Am -- where approximately is the Wednesday market situated?

If you head towards the railway station it is next to there, but it's big and extends to next to where the municipality building is - if you turn left at the main traffic lights in Cha Am just keep going for 300 metres and you are there.moe wrote:Thanks, much appreciated. My wife had 2 lovely frames made by the guy at the Soi 88 railway crossing last week. One 3' 2" x 2' 1" and a smaller one 16" x 14". A really good job at 2,200 Baht.
