Travel insurance for USA

I am planning to travel to US mid year 2014 and my searches online to purchase travel insurance for a senior citizen are proving difficult so I was wondering if anyone out there has had a similar problem and if so did anyone solve the problem and manage to get travel insurance for a reasonable premium.

I went to AA INSURANCE AND BOUGHT A YEAR ROUND POLICY. IT COVERS FOR WHENEVER I LEAVE THAI FOR 120 DAYS EACH TRIP.

On Phetkasem road just south of the main traffic light (on the east side) in the same building with The Learning Center. There is a sign up high on the building as they are on the 5th floor. They are directly across the road from an unpaved parking lot that is a convenient place to park if no curbside parking is available.

Well, there was about a dozen cars in the car park last week, and as far as I recall they all had 4 wheels, and none were helicopters!

I've tried to park in the rear of the building a couple of times only to have to back out down that narrow drive back onto Phetkasem Road because there was no room. I'll never attempt that again unless the lot across the street and curbside parking are full.

Are you sure there were no helicopters there? As HHF has also commented, there are rarely any spaces for cars, although you can normally fit a 2 wheel vehicle (that's motor bike/scooter) in without too much trouble.

Be prepared for the insurance to be expensive, the US has insanely high medical costs. An overnight in a hospital with a few tests can run $10,000. Insurance companies don't like this and charge accordingly. Seniors going to the US will also pay more.
