drving on the left

Burma (Myanmar) was a British Empire country and they drive on the right. I drove across the border and there was a really weird X with curbs where cars had to cross to the opposite side of the road at the crossing.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Yes, but they changed to driving on the right in 1970, a few years after the military took control. Until then, they drove on the correct side of the road.

And weirdest thing is; most of the cars are right hand drive!
