so, the top 4 meet each other, the rest must be laughing. Will Baa Baa come out of exile to give his opinion?

Last Saturday, the Scouse beat us and so many of my Liverpool supporter friends sent me messages about this. I replied to them all and congratulated them all. Now today, I sent them messages about the match. How many, would you think, congratulated me or replied to me? You right, none of them congratulated me but you're wrong, one of them actually replied. He told me we're no good and will win nothing this year. Oh well, after all these years, I should have known better, them Scouse.

Are they genuine Scousers from Liverpool or plastic glory hunters, the real Scousers that I shared terraces with were funny, knowledgable and not at all bitter in defeat.Your friends probably took their lead from the bad loser manager, Rodgers

This one is quite funny

http://shewore.com/2014/02/17/liverpool ... eir-fault/
Liverpool FC – It’s never their fault

For a long time, Liverpool Football Club has been mocked by the rest of England. ‘Victimpool’ has been a common moniker. “It’s never you’re fault, it’s never you’re fault, always the victim, it’s never you’re fault” a common song sung.

When it came down to the ticketing issues for the weekend FA Cup tie, Liverpool were true to form and blamed everyone but themselves. Denied 9,000 seats due to safety reasons, they moaned it was not their fault and that they should get the lower and upper tier.

The reasoning behind the denial of 9,000 was due to Liverpool’s history of persistent standing and use of flares. So what do Liverpool then do? Stand throughout, set off 2 smoke bombs and steal a ball. They do themselves no favours. As for the disgraceful interruption by their fans during the minute’s silence for Sir Tom Finney, their fans once more went the extra mile and highlighting that they are the shame of English football.

It seems that nothing ever being Liverpool’s fault has now extended to the pitch, as both fans and the Scouse loving press have gone above and beyond in making it clear that Liverpool were the better team and it was not their fault they lost.

Despite Arsenal scoring 2 to Liverpool’s 1, history is already being re-written, as it is clear Liverpool were the victims of horrendous referring decisions which caused them to lose. Denied a second penalty which was, even to the most loyal Arsenal fan, a blatant foul by Oxlade-Chamberlain. This malicious act by Howard Webb denied Liverpool certain victory in the game. Ignoring the following facts:

Cazorla was failed in the penalty area
Steven Gerrard committed 3 bookable challenges
Raheem sterling man handled Howard Webb
Howard Webb failed to penalise Agger & Skrtel time and again for fouling Sanogo

But of course, it is Liverpool we need to be sorry for. They went out of the FA Cup, and it simply was not their fault. It was not their fault that Daniel Sturridge is greedy and shoots when there is a square ball on for a tap in. It is not their fault that Fabianski was quick off his line then Sturridge or Sterling was to the ball.

It is not Liverpool’s fault that Koscielny and Monreal reduced the influence of Luis Suarez. Liverpool are the victims here. Why should Fabianski, Monreal and Koscielny have such good games? It is a disgrace.

As for Mesut Ozil. He did nothing, yet was involved in everything.

Liverpool are out of the FA Cup, however I expect them to be re-instated, as it is not their fault they have been knocked out. It is Arsenal’s fault for being better then them.

Man up Scouser’s. Admit you are scum. Admit you were beaten by the better team. And give us our ball back.

... because Wenger's always 'oh so elegant' when accepting a loss. Laughable and obviously posted to get a reaction as, not including ya inabilty to post photos  , you don't seem to be a stupid person.

Edit: Saying that, Wenger should be a damn good loser! With being the specialist in it (losing  ) and all, you'd have thought he'd have a better 'poker face' by now. Instead what we are handed is a repetetive and arrogant, "I didn't see it properly" if it's a referee's call that's gone their wayt, or a petulant showing of dramatics if it didn't.

My genuine question was aimed at Bamboo Grove. Don`t be bitter just because your team was knocked out in the previous round. As for my inability to post pictures, unlike your goodself, I can actually communicate in words, not teenage abbreviations. By the way, do you manage to get your weekly copy of the Beano in Bangkok?

Actually, I like Rogers, he's made Liverpool to play great football. The one Liverpool manager I never got to like was Souness. He was a sour grapes guy, if there ever was once.

To your question about real Scousers or glory hunters, I prefer not to answer, as you might think, the only real supporters have to be English.

Not at all BG, people support a team for a variety of reasons, glory hunters "support" a team who at the time they pick their team are winning a lot of trophies. So expect Man City to attract a lot of support from 10 to 14 olds. Man U and Liverpool have always had this type of support. I suspect you supported Arsenal before Wenger took over and took the bad with the good at the time.

I started supporting Arsenal when Bertie Mee was in charge and most of these Scouse supporter friends of mine have been with Liverpool since their young age.

Some good games today - Sheffield Utd. completely outplayed Charlton, Lee Catttermole had a disastrous game for Sunderland, gifting Hull two of their three goals and then the biggie, Wigan beating Man City away!

Brilliant performance by the current cup holders, although they rode their luck at the end. So much for Pellegrini's stated claim that they will clean up in all tournaments (they play Barca on Wednesday already 2-0 down).

So, after Arsenals comfortable win yesterday they take on Wigan in the semi-final, whilst Sheffield Utd face Hull - should be interesting.

Gary Lineker made this reference about the Arsenal v Wigan game on BBBC sport, which made me smile:

Manchester City 1-2 Wigan

WOW! What a performance by Wigan. Stunning! They now face Arsenal in the semis, encouraged massively by the fact they've much more experience of Wembley than the Gunners in recent years.

The opportunity has just set Arsenal up for another humiliation act! Hope I'm wrong.
