Most people already know how to walk and don't need a class. :P

Do Norwegians do it differently... on the hands or backwards?
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I think its walking with modified ski poles? saw and talked with a guy up in Korat at the army camp and he explained it was to replicate the action of cross country skiing.

Yes, I've seen people walking around here using what looks like ski poles, but it still looked like just walking but using the poles in each hand instead of just swinging the arms... still wondering what a class would teach you.

I guess it's more complicated than it looks. There are all kinds of instruction videos on youtube if you google it.

I think Monty Python could have done a bit on the Ministry of Nordic Walks after watching that video... :D

I've also seen people walking ski poles/sticks, but I just assumed they're for keeping soi dogs on their place.

There's also some guy that comes and stays in Borfai every year for few months that has what appears to be miniature skis, but on wheels. Seeing him go up and down the road, it looks just like skiing.

Anyway, for the time being, I'll just carry on with Thai walking.

Great video HH Farang, I chuckled a few times watching it. My God! I walked all these years
without those poles, I could have had an injury many times. Growing up in the country and
walking up and down those hills with that slippery grass etc, cow paddies, and such, I wonder how I was able to survive. Joking of course.
I think the only walking stick I would buy is one with a camera mount attachment on the handle end
to stabilize my old Nikon for pictures.
