Man Successfully Sues Wife Over Ugly Children

Man Successfully Sues Wife Over Ugly Children and Judge Orders Wife to Pay $120,000

Jian Feng sued his wife for giving birth to what he called incredibly ugly girl.

“I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had our first daughter, we began having marital issues,” he told the Irish Times. “Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me.”

Initially Jian accused his wife of infidelity, because he knew he could never be the father of an unattractive child. However, DNA tests proved that the child was indeed his. Feng’s wife then came clean and admitted she had about $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery done in South Korea before they met.

Feng sued his wife on grounds of false pretenses, for not telling him the truth about the plastic surgery, and duping him into believing that she was beautiful. A judge agreed with Feng’s argument and ordered his wife to fork over $120,000.

Obviously the spirit of Christmas is lost for this woman!

http://news.yahoo.com/police-no-beer-le ... 44077.html

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina authorities say a 44-year-old woman angry at a man for returning home without beer on Christmas beat and stabbed him with a ceramic squirrel.

The Charleston County Sheriff's office says in a report that deputies found a man covered with blood when they arrived at Helen Williams' North Charleston home early Wednesday. She told investigators the man fell and cut himself, but couldn't explain why her hands and clothes were also bloody.

Deputies say the man said Williams was so angry when he returned without beer because stores were closed on Christmas Eve that she grabbed a ceramic squirrel, beat him in the head, then stabbed him in the shoulder and chest.

Williams was in jail Friday and charged with criminal domestic violence. It wasn't known if she had a lawyer.

This a funny and disturbing story on many levels. If there are cannibal rats on board I assume only one super rat will be left after all the battles are finished.

http://edition.cnn.com/2014/01/24/tech/ ... hostship8p

A ship. Lost at sea. Abandoned by all humans. Floating untethered into the fog. Infested with hundreds of cannibal rats. Slowly and perilously drifting toward shore.

But, you see, this isn't a movie. This is really happening.........

Horrific Encounter with Porcupine Leaves Brazilian Woman with 272 Needles in her Scalp

Sandra Nabucco from Rio de Janeiro was left with 272 painful quills in her head after a porcupine fell from a lamppost and landed on her head.

"It was quite a shock. I felt something land on my head and then felt the spines with my hands. The pain was enormous," Nabucco told Brazilian news site Globo.

"The surgeon took them out with tweezers. There must have been around 200. I'm a strong woman; an old person or a child would have died.

"Someone told me there was a pair of porcupines living in the area, but I had never seen them."

The porcupine is believed to have survived the fall. "I saved this animal's life. He broke his fall on my head," Nabucco said.

Flatulent cows start fire at German dairy farm - police

http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/offbea ... rm-police/

BERLIN (Reuters) - Methane gas from 90 flatulent cows exploded in a German farm shed on Monday, damaging the roof and injuring one of the animals, police said.

High levels of the gas had built up in the structure in the central German town of Rasdorf, then "a static electric charge caused the gas to explode with flashes of flames," the force said in a statement.

One cow was treated for burns, a police spokesman added,( but had since been discharged from hospital.)

Man buried astride beloved Harley

http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/offbea ... ed-harley/

A motorcycle-loving man's family has fulfilled his dying wish - to be buried astride his beloved Harley-Davidson encased in a see-through casket.

But it wasn't easy.

The project required an extra-large cemetery plot to accommodate a Plexiglas casket for Billy Standley and his hulking custom-painted 1967 Electra Glide cruiser. Five embalmers worked to prepare his body with a metal back brace and straps to ensure he'll never lose his seat.

Standley's family said he'd been talking about it for years and liked to take people to the garage to show off the unusual casket his two sons had built for him. He told people he didn't just want to ride off to heaven, he wanted the world to see him do it in the big see-through box.....................................

Japan bra only unhooks for true love

The "True Love Tester" uses sensors and a special gadget linked to a mobile device to analyse the pattern and speed of the user's heart beat in the heat of the moment.

If the app determines the woman's feelings are for real, the clasp at the front pops open to allow matters between lovers to take their course..........

Spanish football fan arrested on charges of animal cruelty after throwing dog at referee

Spanish police have arrested an angry football fan on charges of animal cruelty after he threw a dog at a referee.
The incident took place during a local football match between Comarca del Marmol and La Cañada Atletico teams at the Juan Jose Rodriguez stadium in Almeria, south east Spain.
The man grabbed the dog from the arms of a fellow supporter and catapulted the animal into the air aiming at the referee as he approached the benches at the end of the game on Sunday.
The referee was left shaken as the injured animal crawled in pain on the pitch.
Police were called in after a fight broke between the dog's owner and the unnamed hooligan.

Pennsylvania judge sentenced to 28 years in prison for selling teens to prisons

Disgraced Pennsylvania judge Mark Ciavarella Jr has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for conspiring with private prisons to sentence juvenile offenders to maximum sentences for bribes and kickbacks which totaled millions of dollars. He was also ordered to pay $1.2 million in restitution.

In the private prison industry the more time an inmate spends in a facility, the more of a profit is reaped from the state. Ciavearella was a figurehead in a conspiracy in the state of Pennsylvania which saw thousands of young men and women unjustly punished and penalized in the name of corporate profit.

According to allgov.com Ciavearella's cases from 2003 - 2008 were reviewed by a special investigative panel and later by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and it was found that upwards of 5,000 young men and women were denied their constitutional rights, and therefore all of their convictions were dismissed and were summarily released.

During his sentencing Ciavarella was defiant, claiming he had broken no laws and claimed the money he received was a legitimate 'finder's fee.' Assistant U.S. Attorney Gordon Zubrod said comments such as these were typical of Ciavarella, according to the local reporting of citizensvoice.com:

I think that's his way of doing things. Never retreat. Always go on the attack. Always blame somebody else. Always get them to back off. He tried it with the judge. It didn't work.
