I don't know the exact model but there's a high end photography shop here in Luxembourg and they have one of those large Canon telephoto lenses in the window for just under 12,000 euros.

I passed by the mentioned photo shop this morning and it was the 200-400mm zoom that costs an eye-watering 11,995 Euros. If you're on a budget, they also have a fixed 400mm for 9,995 Euro!

* How is that possible? Easy. It takes each photog shooting less than 2 minutes a day for their combined efforts to produce 1 million images. Olympics is 17 days, Getty has 37 photographers who're usually shooting 14 frames per second, so:
# images / # days / # photogs / 14 = time per photog per day
1,000,000 / 17 / 37 / 14 = 113 seconds.
