pencil case with a slide top

Hi I am coming to Hua Hin in the next couple of weeks and I would like to purchase a pencil case with a slide top the ones we had a school 30 40 years ago. Is there a handy craft shop that makes such a case with a Thai style finish?

I think the best bet would be to visit all the Thai markets. There always seems to be a lot of small, odd items like that at those places. OTOP* stores is another place to look. Pete

There are hand made wooden cases with opening and sliding tops of many shapes and sizes, maybe not specifically for pencils, but may work sold at stalls in the night market.

There are hand made wooden cases with opening and sliding tops of many shapes and sizes, maybe not specifically for pencils, but may work sold at stalls in the night market.

You can get them with a set of wooden dominoes inside at many of those type of stalls around Hua Hin.
