Can anyone identify this bike ? The red and black one. Saw it on a truck, being delivered to Hua Hin, but lost it in the traffic, so couldn't see the make.
I am looking for a new small run around and this looks interesting!

Could be a keeway superlight 200 ( I think the 125 is not sold in Thailand)

Have looked and compared with the SuperLight, but this is bigger and has a higher seat level. Also looked to compare against the Keeway Blackster, which will be released next month, as a V-Twin 250, in matt black, but still not a match!
Will keep searching or hope somebody recognises it. Many thanks.

What kind of bikes usually go on these runs? What is the minimum size needed to keep up and have fun? I have a Honda PCX150, yes I know not a Super Bike, but enjoy my rides and might enjoy an occasional jaunt with others.
Thanks

Hi all
I'll be up for a run in the future but my bike is in BKK, I did ride if down here once but it's a pain in the ar$e (literally) and nowhere near as comfortable as my Beemer. I got a lovely 09 CBR 600RR. It's a great bike and a real head turner because there's not many in the country. When any Thai asks about it, ( I'm sure you all know what the 1st question is) it's, "how much is it?" I find that annoying, so I'll give a stupid answer of either ฿20k (their eyes light up) or ฿1Mill and they just want to touch it, lol.
So when I bring it back down here I'll be up for a ride sometime.

SunandFun, I think your wee 150 would struggle to keep up with the bigger bikes. Visit the new Ducati shop and treat yourself to an upgrade.... :duck:

Thaitats, keep an eye on this thread or follow the guys Facebook page:

Can you post a photo of your Fireblade please.

CBR 600RR is not the best bike for BKK and if you find it's a pain in the arse to ride 200 km on the highway, I wonder why you chose it. It will probably be a nice second-hand bike with little mileage when you sell it...
The cb650 would be a good option.

Thanks GG. I thought this might be the answer given, but I could't stop "dreaming" of the good ol' days when I had adequate HP. I have been holding this question for some time, and had to get it solved. Now I will just enjoy following you guys and maybe one day, when I am here 12/12, I will treat myself and join all of you for the fun. Happy Biking anyway.

Why not see how many smaller cc/hp, bike/scooter riders would be interested in going on rides together?
You might find a few who are in the same position and mind as yourself.
Just a thought. :thumb:

Bikers,
we will be meeting again for a run tomorrow (Saturday 15th of March).
Usual meeting time and place - 08:30 at El-Murphys for breakfast.

Had an excellent run last week North to the Damnoen Saduak floating market via the coastal Chaam route 4028 returning to Hua hin via Kaeng Krachan.
Route unconfirmed for tomorrow - suggestions welcome :thumb:
