Long Term Renting Of A House

Post by YonugGun »

Hi, I'm not new to this site I simply have a new screen name... with a typo :P I also am not new to Hua Hin or Thailand, and in fact have rented a house for 6 months here 2 years ago.

Anyway of all the web searches I have done, I have not seen anything that is as well valued as I have seen with my own eyes and leg work. Nearly 2 years ago I rented a house around soi 88 Bongai for 5k a month, 2 bedrooms, main area, cooking area but not garden or furniture. I am looking for something around 8k with or without furniture. Now, I am aware that many farang think that is impossible or you would have to live way way out of town, this is not the case. I am wondering if anybody knows of any places at the moment or within the next 3 months?

Kindly appreciated.

At least 6 months, I would assume maybe a year depending on the location and house itself, but at least 6 months. 8-10k I would probably suggest

I think you'll find they are more like 10,000+ baht depending on level of furnishings, renovations, improvements etc. Also there are three different sizes (widths), some are quite narrow whilst some are wider.

We rented ours out for 15,000 baht a month for two years, then we reduced it to 13,000 baht a month after that, and the tenants stayed for three more years. Now the new tenants are happily paying 15,000 a month.

Also the street that runs parallel with soi 80 has lots of town houses for rent for 10,000 baht or just over depending on length of lease. Those townhouses are all narrow ones I think.
