Yellow House

You may want to add it to the map with a ninety degree arrow at the top of the map (pointing west on 94 then south). It's only about 100 meters off Soi 94.
Soi 94 has a long section under construction. Easier way to Yellow House:
- West on Soi 88 extension
- Turn left on unmarked soi 100m before turn to Hin Lek Fai. It's the last place you can turn left before the road to Hin Lek Fai.
- In about 500m the soi ends in a T intersection at soi 94.
- Turn right onto soi 94
- Turn left at the first paved road, about <50m. Yellow House is <100m ahead on the right.

Perfect directions and map. I've eaten there several times now and in my humble opinion they have excellent food for the price and serving size. I've mostly had Thai (beef salad, chicken with cashew nut, Penang curry shrimp) which were all excellent, but they also have western food. I've only tried the fish and chips and it was ok but not traditional. The white fish inside was good (I'm guessing local snapper) but it was crumbed instead of beer battered so I was a bit disappointed with that. Portion again was large with two good sized pieces of breaded fish, but normal size of (previously frozen style) crinkle cut chips or fries as we would call them in the U.S. I'll probably not get the fish and chips again as they are better elsewhere, but there are several other western meals on the menu to try.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

We tried this place and have to say that we were very impressed. Thai beef salad was the most complete of its kind that we have found in HH, non fatty beef and not overly sweet. The misses was happy and the masaman I had as a main was perfect. Great that this place is within walking distance.

The young waitress was a touch grumpy, must've just woke up, but the chef (owner?) was very friendly.

Great recommendation.

Had the F & C but as HHF says not the best. Had a couple of good Thai dishes and a big chunk of beef lasagne several times which is a good meal for 150 baht. I usually order a cold lasagne to takeaway and microwave it the next day.

Another way to get there avoiding most of the bad roads if you are near Soi Chareon Pattana 2 (this is the road that leads from korat kitchen down past the 5 a side footy field to the under construction road to soi 102) or if you are coming from Soi 102, take the first left after the football field, just after the small garden centre and the rubbish bins. This is signposted to Yaamsard school from one direction and Glory House from the other. Go to the bottom and turn right and follow it to a T junction. This brings you to Soi 94 just past Oy restaurant and before Bon Nern so turn left and follow the directions above. This bit of the road is still uneven but always has been and is not a result of the roadworks. Saves you going to Soi 88 if you live south of Soi 94.
