And how would you describe yourself?

Some good points made by various people.

I think Dawn was right when she said that you should treat people as you would like to be treated.

I can't wait to read about the Farang packed lunch protest in the press, will it be declared another state of emergency?

We get the occasional spurt from schmucks on here now and then, its to be expected with a public forum I guess.

Super Joe,
So by your definition does that mean you are a 'brit' as you certainly seem to fit the last two words.

Getting back on topic and to balance the farang bashing nature of this thread, please all note that Thais living abroad also moan about their host countries in a similar way. It is just human nature to do so, irrespective of nationality.

As to overpricing, it’s not just farangs who get hit with that, it happens to all tourists in Hua Hin, including all those rich Thais you see driving around in black Mercedes.
I have Thai friends in Europe, and they all say the same thing when I mention Hua Hin, “nice place but expensive.â€

How dare they! We'll have to snip the visas of those ingrates. Don't they realize how lucky they are to be in the West? We've taken them from squalor and poverty and given them the opportunity to have a life, a real life. My goodness, what is this world coming to? Name withheld.

This is as helpful as the rest of the tosh that you have posted.

Your 'experience' is obviously as limited as your intellect.
