Per CNN, Moyes is out as of this morning London time.

Confirmed on BBC as well, very unlike Man U, but I guess with their performance this years, it's not such a surprise. People are also saying that a few players heads should roll as well.

One season is not enough to build his own team but United have been so poor, quite often, this season that you cant trust him to spend 150m wisely in the close season.
Talk about Van Gaal as his successor....hope not....he was awful at Bayern Munich and is 64 now.....the Spuds should step in and sign him up quickly.
Klopp,yes.....Simeone,yes.....United must have somebody lined up unless they are wanting Fergie to take over till he's 80 ! :rasta:

What aren't we seeing/reading here? Why do it with just 3 matches left? Why not wait until the season finishes? Maybe there are contractual things involving more of a payout if they let him finish the season? Or, maybe they are really pissed at him and wanted to do it very publically and in a very nasty manner rather than wait. Just thinking out loud.

I'm not sure why they didn't wait until the end of the season either, but apparently by not qualifying for the Champions league, they only have to pay one years compensation.

He's gone,its official ! :o
Only 3 games left, true, but nothing to play for. They must have the new guy lined up with all the transfers in he wants to make.
Certainly you would think/hope that up to a dozen players will be leaving the club.

I would think he would be someone Fulham would/should be interested in?

Why wait? nothing much to play for, maybe they've already lined a replacement up and they're not currently in a job. Bring them in now, assess the squad, plenty of time to decide which players go/stay.

Roy Keane next manager :duck:

I just read a blip saying Ryan Giggs is taking charge. it didn't say for how long. I really need them to beat Norwich and Sunderland. I hope they have some spark left.

Just until the end of the season, I think.
You can almost guarantee they'll play like champions for the next few games...

Am I right in thinking he sacked all Fergie`s backroom staff including the popular and effective head coach? Who else could be blamed having taken over a winning team and leading them to mediocrity. Never mind eh.
