Finding a job for Thai step-son who speaks English

Post by HHCanuck »

My step-son has just graduated from high school he speaks excellent clear English I'm hoping he can find a part-time job in a restaurant or shop where he can use his English to deal with foreign customers.

Hoping some board members can give me advice or leads he has no work experience like many new graduates.

Is there some place in Hua Hin where jobs for locals are advertised or is it just footwork visiting businesses?

Try the Prime Steak House restaurant below the Thipari hotel my brother in law used to work there and I know that they want him to go back but he is developing his own business and has his dream.
He used to earn good money their and tips.

Good luck

Low-season is upon us, but you may be lucky & find a venue that just needs someone with a good command of English..You'll have to have a good think of places that will benifit from having him on-the-team..?
(Even the not-so-likely places like the company that runs the airport bus may be looking for English-speaking staff..?)
...

I've linked this to the thread about water parks - the new one called Vananava will be recruiting staff and presumably English language will be a big plus

He writes English and had his first computer at age 8 (first person in my wife's village to own a computer).
