I thought the the Chelsea defence looked solid last night, and when they looked like being compromised Mark Schwartzer at 41 y.o. was more than up to the task.

Merry St. Totteringham’s Day. May there be many more of these in the years to come.

"‘I’m not a Fulham fan any more,’ she said.

‘I was, but now I’m married to a Chelsea fan. We don’t want to bring up our children in a competitive environment.’"

 Does it really get that serious within a family relationship in the UK? I know plenty of families in the US where one supports a certain NFL or MLB team and the other, another. It never results in confrontations where raising of the children becomes an issue. Another few

Perhaps this is just "star celeb" gossip stuff, I don't know. Pete

I think she must have been a very shallow Fulham fan in the first place.

Who's she married to?

Agreed, she must be very shallow if she changes allegiances just like that !
You support your team through thick and thin.....
Portsmouth won the FA Cup in 2008,now struggling in the 4th tier of English football, but still get around 15,000 fans watching them.
Stockport County were in the Championship around a dozen years ago but are now in the Conference North.2,500 still watch their home matches, though.
Liverpool.....24 years without winning the league title.......soon to be 25 ? :duck: 40,000 faithful and still one of the most popular teams worldwide.
Plymouth Argyle........no,lets not go there....there are limits ! :rasta:
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

Believe me when you have waited 45 years, most of that time in the shadow of utd across town, you really don't care how you win it!! Also has there ever been a more dramatic end to a Football season - it was pure theatre...

And strangely enough I would be very happy to do it again this season...........CITD

.Yes, in 1989 when Arsenal beat a previously unbeaten Liverpool at Anfield 2 nil. They finished with the same points, same goal difference and won on goals scored, the 2 goals being the difference. Oh, and the second goal was scored with a minute to go.

What do our Spurs friends think of the defensive wall parting like the Red Sea to allow WHU to score their second goal?

I thought it was very artistic. The 'demi-pirouette'.

Next season's back 4 are practising variations on the theme...
