can anyone tell me the price of a bottle of cooking gas with exchange ,im sure ive just been spanked i just been charged 430 baht

Our last one was 405 THB, up from 385 THB, so there are increases in price.
Not sure of the size of our's but there's something to go on.

Depends on size, but that doesn't seem too bad if they've picked it up and exchanged.

Some tie ago, the government built in automatic monthly price hikes of about 20-25 baht to gradually reduce the subsidy on domestic cooking gas in order to bring it into line with actual world market prices.

^ They were at around 285 for a long time. The government took price controls/subsidies off cooking gas some months ago. Pete

Cooking gas prices going up again on Sunday.

"Deputy NCPO chief ACM Prajin Jantong yesterday said cooking gas would increase by 50 satang per kilogramme tomorrow to 23.13 baht from 22.63 baht as decided by the previous government....."

I take my bottle to the gas filling station myself as it's just a bit further down the road from the supplier.
A point to note is that many suppliers do not fill a full charge so you could be getting short-changed.

Forgot to add, 380 baht for a 15 kg bottle. The weight on the lever arm was at the full extent (15 kg cutoff).
