Liver
Re: Liver
Didn't some thread say that there is a Muslim abattoir in or near Hua Hin? Or...maybe that just Muslims worked there as Buddhists won't? If a true Muslim place, they should have everything "lamb" I would think. Petebarrys wrote:Oh, please, please tell me wherecrazy88 wrote:Certainly can get lambs liver...

Re: Liver
I believe the one at Angie's was beef or calves liver.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Re: Liver
Timely thread.............
About three weeks ago, whilst in Macro, I suddenly remembered one of my favourite dishes
Pigs liver, streaky bacon (With reasonable amount of fat on it), onions with creamy mashed potato.
Needless to say, when the liver, bacon & onions are being cooked,, there's lashings of red wine & some Worcester Sauce thrown in for good measure.
Now have the family hooked on it

Re: Liver
Without actually looking up the numbers, we should all be cautious as liver is liver whether it be goose pate or what we're talking about here, and all of it is loaded with the bad type of cholesterol. Probably okay once a month max. Dr. Pete

Re: Liver
Personally I can't stand liver, regardless of where it comes from or how it is cooked. The smell alone is enough to turn my stomach, but for those who do like it, I would imagine you can get goat liver at the local Muslim village.
@ Pete...........I think you'll find that nearly all slaughter houses in Thailand have regular Thai Buddhist staff.
