Khao Lak alternative accommodation

My sister was due to go to Khao Lak end of Jan, now looking to come to HH, she likes bungalows or low rise. any ideas where? seems like it will be packed soon. We are staying at the Anatana the same time, they are fully booked already

Hua Hin doesn't really have beach bungalows.....

the accom near the beach is usually 5*......the Anantara being one of them...there is also the Hilton,Marriot,Sofitel,Smor Village,Evason,Hyatt

the last 3 are more khao takiab / pak nam pran / pranburi ....may be more your kind of thing....expensive though....

there are quite a few smaller Thai owned beach hotels/condos/resorts....

check thru some of the threads on this site and just search on google!

Thanks Neil, shame about Khao Lak looked beautiful hopefully it will be reserected soon as will the other resorts
