90 day report after using single re-entry

Post by Spitfire »

Just a quick question for the visa gurus. I've got a work permit and did my last report when was supposed to but then during the second 90 day section got a single re-entry to visit the UK for a holiday and then came back. My next 90 day report was supposed to be 3 weeks after I got back from the UK visit and got the new TM card on arriving back etc, which obviously means I filled in my current address and they took at the arrival part at the airport.

As I haven't left the country for about 7-8 years, the question I wanted to iron-out is when the next 90 day report is? Is it in 90 days from the date of arrival back from the holiday or do I need to go down as previously squeduled so that it stays in-sink with going 4 times in the duration of the work permit?

Just want to check as it would be a whopping over-stay if I got it wrong.

I had exactly the same question, but I got conflicting advice from other expats and on the forum. I was about 2 weeks early if on the 4 times a year schedule but over a month before if going by last entry.
So, I went to IImmigration to ask them. I told the story to lady outside, I showed the last 90 day entry and the 30 card in my pp. She did not reply, just gave me the 90 day form and five min later I was inside and got a 90 stamp from day I was there. So I still don't know but am legal.

I've always done it 90 days from last entry into Thailand and never had an issue.

This issue was done to death a couple of weeks ago.

Thankx for the replies and the link to recent topic.

Should be OK to do 90 days after date of arrival back then.
