Today I phoned a friend @ Stamfrod he lives in the Hin Nam Sai Suay Condo when the Earthquake happened. He thought it came from Petchkasem Road when a Truck drove by but it was abit strange for him such a strong Schockcwave from Truck? @ this time could not possably be. He had asked a few other firend and colleagues from Stamford adn they all confirmed! I guess this would be the talk of the Campus on Monday!
The Earthquake would be a talk of the Campus would it happen during my time (1999 - 2004).

My partner woke me up yesterday morning to tell me there was an earthquake, I told her it was thunder, but it seems I was wrong. Apparently it smashed a mirror in the bus office. The good thing is that there is no fault line in the Gulf of Thailand, so a Tsunami is supposed to be impossible in Hua Hin.
i had just arived wednesday october 4th, i went to the german/swiss ? bakery opposite the hilton to use there computor, im not sure of the time but was mid to late afternoon, the lady in there was just clicking the computor on for me when all the computors and desks started to rock !!!

By the time the afternoon one happened I think that most of them would have been back on their bar stools.cyberholz wrote: anybody got some cracks in the house?

When did the nuclear testing happen? I know Pyongyang (sp?) admitted to it yesterday, but I got the impression that it had happened more recently than the "tremor".

Why can't we give them one that creates more like 20 and let them test that assuming that the test is done on there own soil. Perhaps we could just deliver it to them by ICBM giving the five minutes warning necessary to get their test equipment fired up.Jaime wrote:........only 4.2 for the NK experiment.
