The nearest Mitsubishi garage is in Pran Buri. You would be better getting things done yourself bit by bit. Tyres and steering (tracking, ball joints etc.) at Bridgestones and then further up on the same side you will find a whole load of places that will do plugs and points if you have them all, other that will do hoses and filters and many of the Gas Stations on the right around that areas have oil and filter changes as you wait. That is aboput all you get on a service anyway. That way you save money and time.

There's an excellant general garage heading North out of town on the left hand side, at the end of the Palace grounds just as the dual carriageway starts.

You'll need to have someone who speaks Thai but I've always found this place to be honest, they don't rip you off and they will service just about anything from a bus to a 10 wheel truck to a clapped out Mitsu.

They've been servicing my clapped out, 12 yr old, petrol engined, column shift, bench seat, Toyota Hilux pick-up for years :D

You'll know when you are in the right place - it has about 20 years of grease & grime on the floor

Spot on Terry, but quite good mechanics.
They even managed to replace a broken control chip in my car.
Greasy place and friendly people.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

My last car in the UK in 1996 was a Lada, and that had points. It also had sixteen valves, the only problem was though that eight of them were in the Radio.

Yes I not realised it was so long ago. The closest car I had of that era was a Vauxhall Carlton 83, model and that was fully electronic.

He did say old though and I could not remember the name of the kit that replaced the points and coil. I just remember it was a lot less hassle and you got better performance.

A good, honest garage.

For some years now I've been using the little garage on the corner of Phetskasem and Damnor Kasem,
opposite the Tessabahn, right next to Minifarm. They have fixed various aches, rattles and pains an old car
develops, in addition to topping up the a/c once in a while.

Just recently I wanted to replace the broken motor on the electric window but they refused. The gentleman
there just cleaned and adjusted the old motor and it now works fine. This is just one example of the honesty I have
encountered there every time I've been there.

Good, honest people!
