I need lots of 5 and 10thb coins and wonder if any members know where I can get some? I have tried banks but they invariably turn me down. Perhaps they keep them for their known customers?
I used to keep coins in large 'penny jars' at home but I understand Thai banks charge 10% for exchanging them. If true, there may be hundreds of members with bottles bursting with coins, eager to exchange some with me, for no charge. Please pm me if you can assist.

Just realised. Many bar girls in their late morning 'rest periods' do use raffia to construct colourful cubes for display/sale/good luck etc and invariably have a pot of 1 and 5 bht coins to add to the construction. They must get them from somewhere for nowt. Worth an early afternoon chat up of a b/g surely?

Hi mate - not sure if you are still on the hunt for coins but just uncovered quite a cache while moving house. Guessing there must be 10K worth of various denominations. Mostly 1's but a good few 10, 5 & 2's. There being counted as I type.

I don't know the OP, so this isn't about him. First usees for a big pile of coins which came to mind was a prank, some mischief or paying a debt to a a$$hOl@ with a wheelbarrow full of coins. Small denomination coins.
