Hi there,
I am with my family here on holiday and looking for activities. Very interested in a Jeep safari (self drive) or a 4x4 training center in the area.
Hope you got some ideas.
Cheers
Michael

No replies but many views))
Is there somebody in Hua Hin who loves off-road activities?
Anybody took part in competitions in or out Thailand?

Just take a drive down to Prachuap in the rain - as good as any off road experience

Most 4x4 drivers in Hua Hin don't go off road.
1) Might get the car dirty
2) No experience in off road driving

If you get a SatNav like mine, you have no option but to go offroad.

As far as I know there are not any commercial offroad tours around Hua Hin. There are some on Koh Samui.
There are many clubs that have 4x4 events on the weekends, and there are private places that have offroad tracks that cater for the clubs. There is one such place near Ratchaburi.
Some of the clubs have Websites, but they are all in Thai. One place you could look at is:
http://www.weekendhobby.com/index.asp , they have many links to other clubs.
If you are more interested in "mud splashing" types of events I do not know where the contact point is. I have been to a couple of weekend events with one of the Land Rover clubs, but unless you have a willing Thai partner, or speak Thai, it is very difficult to follow them.
Some of the weekend events set up camp overnight. But they tend to be spoilt by having some screeching Thai female, and a band playing half the night at +120 dbs!
It is something I really miss living here, as I used to be a regular player when I was younger.

Thank you Nereus
We need to tune our track and then will find events for off road. Now I know it makes sense
