PGA Championship

Does anyone know if and where there is extensive TV coverage of this year's PGA Championship at Valhalla here in Thailand?

A brief look at the schedule suggests it's on 365 Sports.

It's also on one of the TrueSports TrueVisions HD channels.

Today was one of the best days of any major I've seen in a while with several players vieing for the top position throughout the round against Rory Mcllroy. There will be about 20 players within striking distance tomorrow as the leaderboard is crowded with names (besides Mcllroy) of top quality golfers like Rickie Fowler, Phil Michelson, Jason Day, Adam Scott, Lee Westwood, and Jim Furyk. It should be an interesting finish with a lot of great golf.

I'm gunning for young Ricky Fowler. His performances in the majors this year warrant a victory today/tomorrow.

Out of the bunch up there I fancy Fowler the most likely to shoot a 65, which would probably be good enough.

That being said, you can't really see past McIlroy on current form. It is really set up for a thing final rounds

Well, I'm not a huge golf fan, but I've just watched the last few holes of the Championship and what a drama-packed finish! Well done, McIlroy - roll on the Ryder Cup!

I watched the leaders come in from the 13/14th. A really exciting finish and Rory did well to hold his nerve.
God, he was lucky not to get wet off the 18th tee!!
Also, the first time I've seen the last two two balls coming down the 18th almost as one group because of the light. The first group letting the final one tee off before they'd played their second shots and allowing the latter to play their approaches (par 5) early. Obviously the referees decided it or the final group probably wouldn't have been able to see.
Sure, bring on The Ryder Cup!!

For anyone who didn't see this round, I'd recommend watching the replay starting at 5 p.m. today on TrueVisions HD channel 684 (TSP5).

My only 3 comments are that this was one of the best finishes I've seen in a major for a long time and very exciting to watch.

What happened at the end on the 18th was something I've never seen in pro golf (Lomu gave it away already).

Same comment as with The Open. Major courses need to be made more difficult to challenge todays professional golfers a little bit more. At major should be one at a score of around par imo.

Mickelson was not happy with what transpired on the 18th, turning it into a foursome. He had agreed to the tee shot part only, not the second shots. The announcer quoted the rules in that it's the players who agree to something like that, not up to the officials to simply implement it at will.

Who knows if the delay and/or encroaching darkness made a difference in Phil's approach play at the end. There's sure to be write ups about it tomorrow. Pete
