I know all the mods on this site and they are definitely not on the take as Dawn has already stated. They provide a unique service for little or no benefit and get no thanks but plenty of accusations.
I fully agree with every case I have ever seen of a thread being blocked, a post being edited and a user being banned.
In the past I was myself victim, along with a couple of others, of a campaign of false accustaions that servedx purely as a cover up to the troll that was making the accusations. The mods picked it up very quickly and stopped it in it's tracks almost immediately despite the offender using manydifferent user names to log on.
In this case the OP, who is also a friend of mine, requested that the thread be locked and that is what happened. What I do not underand is why this guy (and I reckon Burger is close to the mark) has been alloed to just re-start it.
It seems to me that it has acheived nothing constructive but has managed to waste many peoples time.
