Anyone ever seen wedge pillows in HH or even Bangkok

Post by hhfarang »

Wedge pillows for people with gerd, certain back/neck problems, and sleep apnea:

Another item that could be bought cheaply within 10 minutes of any place I lived in the U.S. but I imagine difficult to find here.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Mothers often buy them when they are nursing and find that that prefer sleeping on them all the time.

Your best chance HHF is probably in the big Bangkok stores. If you know someone visiting Paragon, Emporium, Central, Robinsons ask them to take a look for you.

I'm personally very picky about my pillows as I sleep very lightly and too few hours. I went through a half dozen styles and textures before I went back to the old, simple foam pillow with good neck and head support. That was 2 years ago though and I don't recall if the places we looked had the slant type you want. We found nothing of value or quality though except in the stores mentioned above. Pete

PS: We actually have one friend in a small group we travel with in-country, and he takes his pillow with him all the time.

Have looked in the front of Market Village where they are holding (were still holding Sunday) the amazing Thailand sale? They had some unusual pillows - didn't look to see if they were what you want.

I have found that the pillows with a compressed (or sewn up) center work best for me. They prop the neck up and allow the head to tilt back into the valley in the center of the pillow thus making for a very good sleeping position on the spine. There called "Therapeutic" pillows and I found them at Tesco as they usually have one or possibly two models of them in stock. Suppose to be ideal for spine alignment when sleeping.

Use of this pillow got rid of some problems I was having with two vertebrae rubbing together and causing some nerve damage down my arms. Started using the pillow and the problem has never come back. When I am away from home I find it difficult to sleep now with my head all propped up on a normal pillow.
