[Mod Edit] We can not mention that particular group of people, or second guess what they are thinking. feels that birthdays are times of celebration and the bars have been open. I would expect the same this year.
Every bar owner I have talked to expects to be open on the 5th just like they were last year - and the year before that, and the year before that . . . . . etc

Plan a) Buy early and 'PLAN' a session with whoever. You will never know the bars are closed then.
Plan b) Invite the bg's you know to an all day party at your place. Invite the band too if you can handle
