VISA SHOPS IN HUA HIN
VISA SHOPS IN HUA HIN
Hi,
I'm looking for a visa shop in Hua Hin that can assist to process my O Visa for having a dependent in Thailand.
Anyone know of any reputable shops to recommend?
Looking for a few options.
Cheers

Re: VISA SHOPS IN HUA HIN
Never heard of anything called a vis shop.
Why not just go to to the immigration office and ask for help? (It's free to ask and perhaps you'll learn a thing or two).

Immigration don't help with getting a visa easily like a visa company do. You have to leave Thailand and do it all yourself.
I'm looking for a company to make my visa without having to leave the country and fund my account to meet the requirements.
Many visa companies do it in Pattaya but I have moved to Hua Hin and would prefer to do it here rather than travel back and forth several times.

Re: VISA SHOPS IN HUA HIN
I was given a number from an immigration officer. He said that the person could help with my next extension.
Not sure what he meant by 'help'. As long as you can meet the requirements what further help do you need?
I've still got the number if you want me to PM it to you?

Re: VISA SHOPS IN HUA HIN
There are 'agents' that do this in HH. I know several friends who do this for their extension of stay - retirement - as they do not have the funds to carry the day themselves.
That said, I do not know of and do not believe there are any "Visa Shops" as such in HH. Ask about in the local bars and I'm pretty sure you will have some names & numbers in short order.
Cheers!

Hi Specialist.
A visa 'agent' is what I'm looking for.
If you could share any details of the agent(s) your friends use it would be appreciated.
I've had a 'helping hand' several times in the past to get additional extensions upon extensions.
Now just looking to get on the correct visa I should have (Would just prefer to pay a bit of money locally to avoid the travelling and inconvenience)
Cheers

There's a certain irony in asking for a 'reputable' business to help you circumvent the immigration rules!l112a6 wrote:Anyone know of any reputable shops to recommend?

Understandable, but is it worth leaving yourself open to deportation?Would just prefer to pay a bit of money locally to avoid the travelling and inconvenience

What makes you think the rules are circumvented?dtaai-maai wrote:There's a certain irony in asking for a 'reputable' business to help you circumvent the immigration rules!l112a6 wrote:Anyone know of any reputable shops to recommend?![]()

Well the OP has implied he needs someone to provide the funding required?bapak wrote:What makes you think the rules are circumvented?

I would suggest many of those that I know on Retirement Visa, have borrowed the required funds. Not just suggest, I know a number. Some on this Forum.caller wrote:Well the OP has implied he needs someone to provide the funding required?bapak wrote:What makes you think the rules are circumvented?
Have checked and there is nothing in Immigration Rules that says you cannot. Just a requirement that the funds are in your account for a period of time at the time of applying.

That was the impression I got. It just seems to me that the current political climate is not the time to be cutting corners. I may also have been influenced by my own experiences with street level 'immigration consultants' in the UK and Europe. Sincere apologies if I was wrong.bapak wrote:What makes you think the rules are circumvented?
None of my business anyway - not that that makes any difference on the forum!

Re: VISA SHOPS IN HUA HIN
Interesting. I wonder whether the requirement has lost anything in translation? Also to hope no-one from immigration is reading this as I am sure it is against the spirit of what is intended and I wonder if challenged, whether such an argument would be upheld?bapak wrote:I would suggest many of those that I know on Retirement Visa, have borrowed the required funds.
