Capital One Cup Season 2014-15
Capital One Cup Season 2014-15
The Green Army kick off their Capital One Cup season tonight. As usual, I'm hoping they come a close second, without picking up cards or injuries. A pointless competition if you're struggling to get out of league 2. We need promotion, not a cup run.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd
Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

Without reading any coverage yet, could have it been deliberate simply to get out of the distracting event?caller wrote:MK Dons beat thrash the mighty Manchester Utd 4-0!

Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

Absolutely not. Man U need to get into the habit of winning again, regardless of the competition. Give it another week or two and there'll be "Bring back Moyes" chants from the terraces...prcscct wrote:Without reading any coverage yet, could have it been deliberate simply to get out of the distracting event?caller wrote:MK Dons beat thrash the mighty Manchester Utd 4-0!

Wot.....no response from the Spuds fans to them reaching the Capital Cup Final ??
d-m,Terence,Jimmy ??
Potentially a cracking final against Chelsea on March 1st.
As for Chelskis win over Liverpool.....Diego Costa,good player,but what a dirty b'stard !

The disappointment of losing to Crystal Palace then getting knocked out of the FA Cup has not worn off yet and the way we played last night tells me another 5-1 to Chelski. Well this is Tottenham TIT.

Come on, chaps, let's not be quite so despondent! It all depends which Spurs team turns up on the night - the one that beat Chelsea 5-3 or the one that lost to Palace and Leicester.
Offloading the overrated Lamela would be a start. And hopefully we'll have Lloris in goal.
Our main (ongoing) problems are defensive lapses and a poor goals to shots and possession ratio.
Looking on the bright side: Erikson, Kane, Lloris, Mason.
EDIT: It would be a bit of a bonus if Costa was suspended for the final...

I reckon the player who is most at fault is Soldado - whenever I've watched Spurs, he misses the most chances - if you had somebody like Costa in his place you'd walk it!!dtaai-maai wrote:Come on, chaps, let's not be quite so despondent! I think it was somewhere in between! Ultimately, a comfortable, deserved win by Chelsea, with Cap'n Fantastic voted man of the match - not bad for the oldest player on the park!dtaai-maai wrote:Come on, chaps, let's not be quite so despondent!
