Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand

Looking north it's very black at the moment. Rumbles of thunder getting louder, and wind quite strong. I reckon this is another wave coming in.

I have to come into Huahin in an hours time.
Car or motorcycle - opinions regarding the forthcoming weather would be appreciated.

I would suggest car, those rumbles are getting louder.

Of course, TIT, it could be beautiful sunshine in an hours time, but unlikely at the moment.

Lovely weather for those guys taking their bikes to Kanchanaburi today.

very heavy rain now and wind with thunder cell directly overhead. this is not a motorcycle day... too much standing water on the streets...

Strange how areas quite close to each other get significantly different weather patterns, however it seems to be universal that the temperature has dropped considerably, in fact I've just put a t-shirt on as I was feeling chilly

Blooming heck. The rain is a bit violent.
Just as I was getting ready to play Springfield. Being out on a golf course during a thunderstorm is not exactly the safest place to be.
Still, not getting picked up until 10am. I'm the eternal optimist.

still very heavy wind, rain and lightning here. not letting up. you should have seen the look on my girlfriends face when I said you have to go to the 7/11. she hates thunder storms.

Optimist or no, I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you! I'm 2 kms away and its still thundering like crazy and pouring down...
