For those "UFOligists" and conspiracy theorists amongst you: -

"A UFO enthusiast has moved one step closer to proving the truth is out there after uploading thousands of declassified extraterrestrial records to the internet.
John Greenewald spent nearly two decades filing Freedom of Information requests to compile an extensive online archive of UFO case files from around the globe.
His website, The Black Vault, claims to have archived over 1.3 million declassified government documents by converting them into PDFs for a searchable database.
Last week, he made the fabled Project Blue Book available on his website.
The massive catalogue of over 10,000 UFO and extraterrestrial reports, recorded by the U.S. Air Force from the 1940s to the 1970s, was previously only accessible by visiting the National Archives in Washington.
Project Blue Book explores everything from sightings to possible evidence of alien contact on Earth."

All hail John Greenwald...... :thumb: http://projectbluebook.theblackvault.com/index.html

Angry Indian bride marries wedding guest

An Indian bride has married a guest at her wedding after her groom-to-be had a seizure and collapsed.

Reports said the groom, Jugal Kishore, was epileptic and he had kept the information from the bride, Indira, and her family.

While Mr Kishore was taken to hospital, the angry bride decided to switch husbands.

She asked a member of her brother-in-law's family, who was a guest, to step in and marry her instead. He agreed.

The incident took place in Rampur town in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

According to a report in The Times of India, Mr Kishore, 25, fell to the ground in front of the wedding guests just as he was reaching out to garland Indira.

On his return from the hospital, Mr Kishore pleaded with Indira to change her mind, telling her that he would be ridiculed by friends and relatives if he went home without a bride, but she refused.

Local police official Ram Khiladi Solanki told the BBC that Mr Kishore and his family were initially upset and lodged a complaint with the police.

"But since the bride is already married now, what can anyone do? So the families have resolved the matter and the complaint has been withdrawn," he added.

Oh I'm so happy I pay my licence fee!! :banghead: :cuss: :banghead: feckin' Beep!! :tosser:

"We're sorry but this site is not accessible from the UK as it is part of our international service and is not funded by the licence fee. It is run commercially by BBC Worldwide, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the BBC, the profits made from it go back to BBC programme-makers to help fund great new BBC programmes. You can find out more about BBC Worldwide and its digital activities at http://www.bbcworldwide.com.

Anywho, :offtopic: - I guess this is referring to "The Clink" in Cardiff (?). I've not been myself (well to the restaurant anyway..), but several friends and colleagues have - and have given glowing reviews. By all accounts the food and service is excellent, profits go to charity and the "crims" work towards a recognised qualification in the industry. In my book, SPOT ON!! :thumb:

"I don’t care what the police say. The tickets are solid gold… it ain’t cut up two by fours I spray painted gold. And it was Jesus who give them to me behind the KFC and said to sell them so I could get me some money to go to outer space. I met an alien named Stevie who said if I got the cash together he’d take me and my wife on his flying saucer to his planet that’s made entirely of crack cocaine. You can smoke all the crack cocaine there you want… totally free. So, try to send an innocent man to jail and see what happens. You should arrest Jesus because he’s the one that gave me the golden tickets and said to sell them. I’m willing to wear a wire and set Jesus up…"

Can you believe some suckers bought it?

Police said they confiscated over $10,000 in cash, five crack pipes and a baby alligator.

And they get to vote?............GHA (God help America)

"Police in India arrested a pigeon suspected of spying for Pakistan

Image

While some countries are having trouble spying on suspects than because of communication encryption, India has other worries. Police in the country have arrested a pigeon (not the one in the picture), on charges that it may be a spy from Pakistan.

DON’T MISS: Google’s killer cloud storage offer isn’t perfect: The biggest problem with Google Photos

Yes, this is real news reported by the BBC. Apparently spy pigeons are a real thing over there, or at least police believe that to be the case.

The bird in question was taken into custody on Thursday after being discovered by a 14-year old boy in a village around 4km from the Pakistani border. The bird had a “stamped message” on its body written partly in Urdu, which is the official language of Pakistan.

The bird was X-rayed at police headquarters, but nothing suspicious was found. Even so, the pigeon remains in police custody, and it has been logged in as a “suspected spy” in the official police diary.

“This is a rare instance of a bird from Pakistan being spotted here. We have caught a few spies here. The area is sensitive, given its proximity to Jammu, where infiltration is quite common,” local police superintendent Rakesh Kaushal told the Times of India.

The BBC says that pigeons do make perfect spy tools since they can’t be hacked. If you want to read more about other projects that use animals as spies, including the Bletchingley pigeon, Operation “Acoustic Kitty” and H’Angus the Monkey, check out the source link below."
