Vietnamese Pho
Vietnamese Pho
Has anyone seen Vietnamese Pho (I think it is pronounced "fur") in Hua Hin? It is a beef/noodles soup.
Re: Vietnamese Pho
I know this is an old post but did you ever find any Pho here in Hua Hin or does anybody else know if it's sold somewhere around town?bapak wrote:Has anyone seen Vietnamese Pho (I think it is pronounced "fur") in Hua Hin? It is a beef/noodles soup.
Re: Vietnamese Pho
Have found several "make believe" ones but not worth reporting...
Re: Vietnamese Pho
That's to bad, I could go for a big bowl of it.
Re: Vietnamese Pho
My wife and I once lived in an area with over 100,000 Vietnamese so we know the item quiet well.
Like you, we would not mind a big bowl of it.

Re: Vietnamese Pho
Check out Mekong Cafe, a Vietnamese cafe / restaurant right next to the driveway entrance to Market Village: https://goo.gl/QpGaTO
I've had pho there, it was good, and it seemed authentic enough to me.
Note that I'm not sure Mekong is still open, by the way, as I noticed a "Business for sale" sign nearby, out the side of my eye when I passed the place by car yesterday.
Other than that, you can find a bunch of "pho-like" noodle soups down in the Food Market court at Market Village.
