RIP Ken Stabler

Post by PeteC »

One of the best NFL quarterbacks I had the pleasure of watching. RIP Kenny. :(

"....OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Ken Stabler's death came as a shock to John Madden. The Hall of Fame coach, like almost everybody else, had no idea the former Oakland Raiders quarterback had Stage 4 colon cancer....."

I don't watch NFL but have read some news recently about some stars blowing their fingers off during July 4th firework celebrations. Always have been a few crumbs of a shortbread these guys. R.I.P to their career now.

In all seriousness though, RIP Kenny. Seemed to be a good honest sportsman, which is somewhat lacking in our day.

Thank you BigBoy... "that was almost right. Take s out of https and it would work".

Edit: I take back that thank you... clip now 'there' but doesn't bloody play. :?
