Garage door installation

At our home we have a double carport that I would like to install a proper double garage door on. I am looking for a local company that can do this for me.. I have found a couple in BKK, but I would prefer to stay in the area to source this purchase and work. I appreciate any info on this topic, Thanks folks!!!!

I admit I also thought of having a proper garage with a door, but got concerned it would be a good place for snakes to hide. I have also heard horror stories of Rats eating a cars wiring and this may be more likely if they were in an enclosed dark place. But I guess the snakes would eat the rats!

I don't know about proper, but around where I am I've seen a few houses with carports that have installed the same up/down metal sliding door that you see on shop houses all over the country. Photo below. If you wanted something like that finding a source sould be easy anywhere here.

Yes to the rats and snakes. I had a carport that was enclosed on three sides, but open to the front and with a small open door in one side. Even that created a haven for snakes and rats. We found snakes in the back (darkest) end of the carport many times and one took a ride under the hood of my car once sticking his head out while on the road. There is a thread on here with photos of the damage rats and mice did to the engine of my car. Someone told me to park the car with the front toward the open end of the garage where the light is and that stopped the rat activity, so yes, you'll be creating a dark place where they will make a home and a meal of your car.

Hmm, I appreciate the feedback... I plan to actually close it in totally with no openings for rats to make their way in... Snakes are another story, could make their way in if they used the open door while we were there and left open during the day.... I will be very cautious with the time left open... Thanks again for your input!!!!
