Hi Roundeyes, as I understand it, the site you are referring to is being developed by the original owner into a complex of units to be leased out to various businesses. I believe the original idea was for a small shopping area, but I have heard that several people are opening bars in there, but I don’t know about any plans for a go-go complex.

I'm not sure here if roundeyes thinks go go bars are a good or a bad thing? Perhaps you can clarify this for us? My guess at the consensus is that after the advent of Lolitas, the last thing the town needs is another step on the road to being Pattaya-lite?

This reminds me of what this forum needs.

We need a forum called "Bullshit", then you could include in it all the topics like The hyper space highway to BKK, the high speed rail link, go-go bars at the temple, border crossing at Dan SingKorn, the demolition of the illegal beach front guest houses and restaurants, Disney Land, Waterworld, 100% land ownership for farangs and even a "What the geezer down the pub told me" thread.

If any of these topics ever looked like even the most remote possibility the a mod could move it the appropriate section.

Yeah, like before Lolita's came on the scene, there were no bar girls in Hua Hin, only 30-year-old virgins at the Hilton looking for true love, massage girls who genuinely wanted to rub that stress away and horses on the beach that cleaned up their own shit. :roll:

Give it a break, pulease. :cheers:

I'm sorry, bj, I may be misunderstanding you, but are you suggesting that HHAD is more concerned with advertising than anything else? Your so- called "international" forums have no decent, realistic views of HH, as proved by a recent thread on nc. IMHO, HHAD is a local exceptionally well informed & excellently run forum which happens to be useful and of interest to many people internationally & long may it continue. :cheers: :thumb:

<bugger on>
Another moaning old twat who decides to blame the forum, where in this thread have any HHAD moderators mentioned sponsors or edited posts? Take your head out of your arse and piss off if you've got nothing constructive to add to this discussion.
<bugger off>

Now back on topic I doubt very much we'll see gogo bars in this new complex, more likely to be a whole bunch of tailors and boutique coffee shops.

Back on topic - I have heard that one of the girls who used to work in Road Hole is going to open a bar in there, but along the lines of a mini Road Hole rather than anything else. I suspect there will be a couple of others but from what i have heard the units are quite small and expensive and that buksida has nailed what will be mainly there. Maybe a 7-11 too as we need one.
