Whose Posts Do You Like The Most?

This was a fun thread a little while back with the winner being either HHFarang or Sandman if my memory serves me right. It was started by our beloved E-Dork... may he rest in peace.

After 3-4 years I thought it right to have another little go at it.

My favourite posters have changed somewhat and we've lost some and gained some. You can have three votes. Apologies if I've missed any regular posters off the list in the poll. I shall add myself in the poll due to vanity.

Whose posts do you enjoy reading nowadays?



For me, I voted for Big Boy, Pharvey and Dtaii Maii. I'm in a bit of a rush so I'll go into the reasons for my choices in a later post.

No I couldn't vote for myself three times... that was a shame. Luckily you didn't enforce a strict "must vote for three" policy so I was able to vote for myself and only myself. I think this is the first web-poll I've ever voted in, come to think of it. It's certainly the first one I've ever been featured in!

Yes, that's the problem with a poll like this - there are quite a few posters who may justifiably be a bit miffed to have been excluded.
JJB, Homer, redzonerocker, arcadian, Pet, HHTel, Norseman, dozer, charlesh, Nereus, JD, Frank Hovis are just a few who spring to mind.

Of course, if all the viable candidates were included the whole thing would be completely unmanageable!

Massively difficult with 3 picks on just the choices available - let alone (as has been mentioned), if including those posters who have been left out.

I think everyone brings their bit, be it good or bad - that's what's makes this forum what it is... IMHO excellent.

I have voted, but in true Welshness shall NEVER, EVER disclose who I voted for.... (unless partaken in a pint or 3....so I shall ultimately disclose this shortly).

I do miss the posts of guys like Sandman, I must admit.... and dare I say it Mr Plum!!

Haven't a clue, I just use the forum for the information and news; I never remember who wrote a post unless it is a useless, rude or crass comment. I might just remember that name but this topic is not about trolls.

I'm not at all miffed at being left out, after all most of my postings in the last year or so have been restricted to the caption competition, minivan accidents and the occasional patronizing put-down of GLCQ. I have been somewhat remiss in the latter during his recent volley of scatter-gun posts, but I'm sure the opportunity will arise.

I enjoy reading almost all the posts, regardless of the author; not only for the information therein but as a reminder to myself of why I don't get involved in the pointless bickering and posturing that many revel in. I freely admit to getting some small deviant pleasure from reading the back and forth banter and imagining the raised blood pressure, ruddy faces, gnashing teeth and pulsating temples of those who are so convinced that their adversary is so wrong that they must be publicly corrected and re-educated, but I doubt we'll see that at the world class levels that Mr Plum & Sarge took it to any time soon.

My vote for 'Best newcomer likely to ruffle some feathers while still remaining mildly amusing at times' goes to James West's portrayal of Brad Pitt in 'I ain't half hot Mum'.

My vote for 'Person who was 100% sure they were right but in the end were completely wrong' goes to Scotian2012 for his role in the Scottish Independence thread.

My vote for 'Person most likely to be banned (again) for starting numerous inane threads after a long lay off' is, ...drum roll please... GLCQuantum.

I hope your wrong....I like GLCQ posts. Sometimes I think he is misunderstood and treated unfairly.
