What are those weird wrist/arm cuff things he's wearing? Is that something that's fashionable here?

The wrist covers could be there to conceal tattoos. However, I have just looked at the two pics and for the life of me, I can see how anyone could possibly think this person is an Arab-like man. From what I can see, he could be virtually any nationality, including Thai.
Don't try to impress me with your manner of dress cos a monkey himself is a monkey no less - cold fact

Indeed - I get somewhat slow and naive as the night goes on.... A dreadful act of violence.

Very difficult to tell - when I first looked, I thought Asian, when the LHG first looked, she thought Western.... so there you go. IMO will be nigh on impossible to make a clear identification based on this.

I agree with BB. The frame, build, facial features and hair looks like a western farang to me also. Pete

It was a bomb thrown off a pier at 1:20. The bomb bounced in a parking lot and landed in the river where it exploded. No reported injuries.

Here is the man....allegedly? No idea about why he left his backpack behind the bench. Or.....this isn't the guy in the video clip. Thais seem to think it is the guy in the clip.
