It depends on what you mean by lately, but over the last week and despite the accuweather web site predicting rain every day, I would say that collectively it's been about 1mm where I live, although I believe that in Cha Am town and on the Petchaburi side, they've had more.

It is of course very much hit and miss, but the next three months are traditionally the wettest for this area!!

Great rain yesterday and much more today in Hin Lek Fai - this is the rain season until end October - as in all previous 8 years I have been here

Tropical Depression in South China Sea
No. 2 Time Issued September 13, 2015
The tropical depression in the central South China Sea was centered at about 450 kilometers of Da Nang, Vietnam, or latitude 15.5 degree North, longitude 112.0 degree East, with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/hr. It is moving west with a speed of 10 km/hr. It is forecast to make landfall over the central Vietnam during 15-16 September 2015. It is expected to have a significant impact on Thailand during 16-17 September........

timeandate.com are predicting 28mm tomorrow morning and 19mm in the afternoon????

Accuweather are predicting nearly 80mm tomorrow, so if it materialises there's bound to be localised flooding across the area.

you know it is not the usual afternoon front that passes thought when the sky "flattens" out with solid overcast in all directions.

think i might walk to the beach and watch this one come in.
