Yes, you have to be weird to support PAFC - unfortunately it's a birth defect. Must be hereditary as well, because my son has the same affliction. Point is though that the affliction is more widespread than people realise.

Watch out y`all:
US host rails against invading Aussie hordes
https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/295 ... ie-hordes/
They come over, take jobs, steal our women and bring their own ways of life without a second thought for the culture of their host country.
While Australia is in the midst of a fervent – and apparently endless – debate about migration, we have perhaps failed to see that we too can ruffle feathers abroad.
And we definitely do, according to US talk show host Bill Maher at least, who has used his show Real Time to embark on a colourful rant about the affects ‘f---ing Australians’ are having on the US.
“While conservatives here remain apoplectic about Mexicans crossing the Rio Grande, and Europe freaks out about Syrians flooding in from the Middle East, no one is paying attention to the ethnic group that is taking over this country while we blithely do nothing: f---ing Australians,” Maher thundered.
"Wake up people, you cannot swing a dead wallaby these days without hitting an Australian.
“They’re bringing drugs … they’re rapists, ok, not rapists, but they do a lot of f---ing.
“You meet one, you have a few beers and the next thing you know he’s sleeping on your couch and f---ing your girlfriend.”
Maher continued to criticise the influx of Australian actors into Hollywood who he said were stealing roles that rightfully belonged to Billy Bob Thornton, stealing acting awards that we once expected to go to Americans (Hugh Jackman is an arch-criminal on this front). It didn't end there - everything from Australia's home grown inventions (conceived so we can party longer, Maher says) to our habit of getting eaten by sharks copped a serve.
But does Maher have a solution to the antipodean hordes? Well, yes. Yes, he does.
“You can’t build a wall but you can build a reef, and I will build the greatest reef the world has ever seen – a Great Barrier Reef, if you will, and I’ll make Mel Gibson pay for it,” he concluded.
“Will it work? No. Do I care? No, because I don’t really hate Australians.
“But I’m an American and it’s in our traditions to hate someone.“
The anti-Australian diatribe may seem uncalled for, but Maher, a well-known comedian and left-wing commentator, was in fact taking aim at Republican presidential candidate, real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump.
Mr Trump has made headlines and stirred controversy during his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination for his strong stance against Mexican immigration, which has included accusations of drug abuse and rape leveled at America’s southern neighbours.
Mr Trump has also famously promised to build a wall between the United States and Mexico in an effort to prevent illegal immigration over border.

Companies should be stopped from developing sex robots with artificial intelligence for fear of harming humanity, according to campaigners.
Many engineers are looking to add artificial intelligence to sex toys and dolls in an attempt to make them more like humans, and therefore more attractive to customers. But such moves are unethical and will harm humanity, according to a new campaign.
The Campaign Against Sex Robots, launched this week, says that the “increasing effort” that has gone into producing sex robots — “machines in the form of women or children for use as sex objects, substitutes for human partners or prostitutes” — is harmful and makes society more unequal.

Thought - It seems so pointless to add Artificial Intelligence to a 'sex toy', when you get it out of the cupboard it'll just say 'Not tonight, dear' or pretend it has a headache.

I'd say giving the robots personalities is the least disturbing part of the article!

If this guy wasn't badly injured to begin with, he certainly was after the stretcher bearers got done with him!

Reminds me of my first visit to watch Thai Football. Hua Hin vs Prachuab a few tears ago. As is very common in Thai football, when players get tired, or their team gets ahead, they start feigning injury to disrupt play/time waste - especially the African players.
At this game, the Prachuab players were dropping like nine pins. However, as soon as the stretcher got to them, they would jump up and start running around. The stretcher bearers got fed up with this in the end, and knocked the player onto the stretcher, and carried him off.

Germany: Woman sitting on park bench dies after 'spontaneous human combustion'
"A Mauritius-born woman, who apparently burst into flames due to 'spontaneous human combustion' as she sat on a park bench in Germany, has died. A horrified passerby attempted to smother the flames with his jacket. The woman - thought to be in her 40s - was rushed to a local hospital by air ambulance to Lubeck with severe burns, but could not be saved.
According to local media the woman didn't make a sound when she was engulfed in flames, and there is speculation that she could have either committed suicide or even been attacked. One German website reported two men were seen running away from the playground shortly before the incident took place, though there is no confirmation of this. However, Flensburg public prosecutor Otto Gosch was quick to dispel local speculation that the woman had been attacked. "We have no evidence that points to a third party fault," said Gosch, appearing to dismiss a theory that the woman was set on fire to disguise stab wounds.
Although born in Mauritius, the woman was well-known locally and her death has caused shock in this small community of 80,000 people 160 km (100 miles) north of Hamburg. Prosecutor Ulrike Stahlmann-Liebelt said: "The victim has lived in Flensburg for a long time and has family here." Suicide has not been ruled out as one explanation, said Stahlmann-Liebelt.
Investigators will attempt to discover how the victim came to be on fire despite there being no obvious cause - a controversial phenomenon known as "spontaneous human combustion" (SHC). Some 200 people through history are said to have burst into flames without any external cause, usually being reduced to ashes. Scientists have speculated that the human body may be capable of becoming like an inside-out candle, their clothing acting as a wick, their body fat acting as the wax"
