Seems acceptable behaviour at corners and free kicks these days

Gabriel getting involved was stupid, but when the ref is unable or unwilling to do his job someone has to stand up to the cheat.

Oh come on! A sly back kick at his shins is hardly the way to stand up to him! You condone his stupidity then? koscielny got it right - ignore him.

I believe that a title challenging team would have been leading in the first half against that Chelsea team they even in an improved state as yesterday remain void of legal ideas.

Ooh, listen to you! Obviously counts Arsenal out then.

Celebrate the 3 points you Chelsea fans but not the manner of the winning. Mourinho cheapened himself even further that normal by claiming Costa was man of the match and saying his methods were the way the game should be played. Costa and Gabriel have history going back to their Spanish days. Someone should explain to the thug (Costa) that dishing it out is one thing but squealing like a big girl when you get it back will not endear him to the non-Chelsea section of English supporters. BTW well done WHU.

with a manager like Maureen what can you expect from the playerers, take a look at Fabregas who is in the refs. face whatever the ref do,disgracefull attitude
which their fans tolerate.

I see somewhere some fans waited outside the players exit and hailed Costa like a hero, all I can say it's pathetic and just show how football have change to the worse if you cannot see that atitude don't belong in football, and these guys suppose to be rolemodels for the kids.

Does if you are a Chelsea fan I suppose. The incident I was referring to wasn't during either a corner or free kick, it was during the commotion of the Costa incident whilst the Chelsea players surrounded the ref like a pack of thugs. The pictures of Zouma with his hand around the neck of Gabriel are for all to see, it is a sending off offense.

Gabriel getting involved was stupid, but when the ref is unable or unwilling to do his job someone has to stand up to the cheat.

Ignoring bullies makes them worse, Gabriel was booked for standing upto him before his stupidity cost Arsenal the game. Your time line of events is conveniently all wrong.

I believe that a title challenging team would have been leading in the first half against that Chelsea team they even in an improved state as yesterday remain void of legal ideas.

Correct, it appears you can read and comprehend at times. Arsenal will never challenge for major honours until Wenger is replaced along with his philosophies, a view I have stood by on this forum for sometime.

Ah well, we agree on that at least.

Too much belly aching on here from the Arsenal fans methinks. Like I said, I didn't particularly like Costa's actions but to try to justify what is acceptable and what isn't when we're talking about stupidity, is...........well stupid really.

Funny, on Wednesday that was the other way round: you conceded two, we one. However, I can't find any mention of that here. :neener:

Not so fussed what the mancs do at the Emirates. Watching Chelsea again today has satisfied my appitite for football this weekend.

Mourinho's post mortem should be a good one to watch again.
