Early results this week - I can now have a relaxing day fishing :D . A big thank you to prcscct, who was this week's Guest Judge.

This week's top 5:

5th Migrant with "Budget cuts have finally caused public transportation to slow down"

4th Bristolian with "We are sorry to announce that there has been a points failure somewhere between Covent Garden and Arthur’s Garden"

3rd dtaai-maai with "Stand clear of the doors, they are likely to fall off."

2nd Bristolian with "When London Underground advertised "Take the Tube" Albert and Ethel took them at their word."

1st place goes to dtaai-maai with "Bijou dwelling for rent in West London. Only ₤5,000 per month."

Thank you very much to all who participated. Better luck next time to those who didn't win.

dtaai-maai you now have until 23:59 on 25 Oct 15 to post the next entry. Competition results will be announced on 30 Oct 15.

Next week will be the judges panel deciding your fate.

Somewhere in this machine should be BB's fish pictures from his outing today? (Hint)

Sorry Pete, I was declared unfit to fish this morning by Mrs BB due to a bit of a tumble on the beach last night - I'm sure the Earth moved for everybody. Did you feel it on your side of the pond?

As usual, some quality fish landed - a couple of photos and a short video later.

The forum's top team worked hard to fix the old server/database failure before the next caption competition was due to close.

... and I predict that by 2016, using this machine, we will be able to produce colour images for caption competition photos.

(By the way, the caption image has disappeared)
