Thai teachers in debt to the tune of 1.2 trillion baht

Have a read of how far up the creek the average Thai teacher is and this is only the teachers. Wonder what the figure is if you got the levels for policemen, nurses and other government workers etc.
To put it into perspective, the two new high speed rail lines they want to build with the Chinese from BBK to Nong Khai and down to Chonburi amount amount to 360 billion baht. Wow!
