Lie detector?

Post by paulkeen »

I'm running a business and I'm now suspecting some insider theft. There are some people that I don't trust, so I'm looking for a polygraph test. I found Thailand Polygraph Association, anyone ever used their services?

Before you put yourself in a position which could quite possibly end up a tragedy, perhaps you should consider the following:

1. Polygraph tests are, to the best of my knowledge, not recognized in courts, so firing staff on the basis of test results could result in legal problems for your business.

2. Polygraph tests are not recognized by the courts for a reason, in that they are massively inaccurate. Firing staff who have done nothing wrong other than failing a polygraph test could not only result in legal problems, but it could also result in you going to meet your maker prematurely.

3. Many, if not all of your staff might feel genuinely offended by the fact that you suspect them all of stealing.

Personally, I think you need to try and find out how a Thai business owner would handle the problem if they suspected inside theft.

Can't you install small spy cameras which come in all shapes and sizes these days.

The bigger problem for the OP are those wedding vows.
