Hua Hin

Post by lisa88 »

Just back from Hua Hin, Hilton was fantastic. Renovations were not a problem at all. Staff friendly and rooms beautiful. View from balcony of pool was wonderful.

Breakfst was terriffic, fresh and huge variety, no complaints at all.
Cheers Lisa.

I too enjoy the Hilton as well as the Sofitel. Great view, nice rooms, centrally located. I regularly visit HH. Interesting experience in getting prices however. One would think that on-line as a Hilton club member or a Sofitel member you would get you the best price. I have yet to beat the travel agent I use. I always go on-line to the hotel company web-site and also go to web sites like Bangkok Tonight, Asiahotels etc and I may get a simialr price but if they do show a better price it is has yet to be available when I try and book it. Thoughts anyone?

Sometimes I wonder how you guys can spend so much money on those 'Thailess' facilities ...

You can get excellent rates for the Hilton even through the UK based companies such as Kuoni in the low season. Using the stay 7 days get 3 free offer a pal of mine has just paid around £28 per night for double occupancy for a 10 day period.

Different world Jimi. Under 50 bucks a night is a bargain for visiting farang. Of course those of us who live in the real world know what the cost of living really is.

I have just had a quick butchers at Asiarooms for the Hilton after Christmas, rates way to high for my liking.
I would rather the TGs have it :D
The disco is worth a quick look though, last year a band from Bangkok were performing, hot little TG singer if I remember correctly.
