 Absolutely incredible decision if true. The gear tends to sell pretty well, not just by people that attend games either. Given the cheap Labour/material cost, good money-spinner i imagine. Why on earth would you choose to give all that money to someone else for selling your own shirt?? Beggars belief, even more especially given the current financial circumstances.

Warrix are not the only kit supplier in the country, if they were playing hardball then choose someone else!

Well guys, I think this confirms that we are a Team In Crisis. I've only heard Mrs BB's translation, and would really appreciate sabai sabai's translation of today's club statement.

I'm fairly sure that this confirms this season's campaign will not start until 14 Feb, if it starts at all,

Don't take what I say here as gospel because much of the info has been gleaned from mickey mouse thai translation. From what I gather the "football authorities" have had doubts about certain teams satisfying the regional league elegibility conditions and have been kicked out of our division. Hua Hin are not one of those teams. It appears our division is now down to ten teams and I presume the delayed start to the season by one week is to enable the fixtures to be rescheduled. The teams remaining in our division are Hua Hin City, Seemok, Samut Sakhon, Nonthaburi, Ratchaphruek, IPE Samut Sakhon, Ayutthaya, Krung Thonburi, Graku Tabfah Pathum Thani and Pathum Thani Seeker.

I hope it is as simple as that GD. Mind you, it's going to be a very short season

Will try and clarify things a bit here....... It is nothing for us as Hua Hin fans to worry about at all.

There is a bit of a bureaucratic dispute between a proposed 'new member' of the league 'Muangkan United' and the governing body.

TTM Customs FC who were supposed to play in the league this season have asked to sit it out and take a break. Muangkan United who were 'on a break' last season are now ready to return and have asked to play in place of TTM. There seems to be some kind of legislative problem with regards which team name will be used and official registration.

The 10 clubs which GD mentioned above:
Geordie Dancer wrote:Hua Hin City, Seemok, Samut Sakhon, Nonthaburi, Ratchaphruek, IPE Samut Sakhon, Ayutthaya, Krung Thonburi, Graku Tabfah Pathum Thani and Pathum Thani Seeker.
Are all showing their support for Muangkan and have agreed to postpone the first round of fixtures scheduled for this weekend, in order to give the (and put pressure on presumably) governing body time to make their decision.

So for clarity there will be no fixture this weekend.

At last, something positive from the club. The league kicks off on Valentines Day (at least I know where I'm taking Mrs BB for Valentines Day now  ). Venue is Takiab Stadium, kick off 17:30.

Just giving this one a bump as a reminder that today is the club's first competitive game of the season, and first game at the new stadium in Takiab.

Should get a reasonable indication today of where the playing squad is at, will have been difficult to gauge in the friendlies against higher level opposition.

The Seemok coach gave an interview the other day, all very positive, saying they have replaced half the squad from last season. They've apparently kept the foundation of the team and strengthened with the players brought in.

Of course he would say that anyway but it does sound like they will be one of the strongest teams this season and up there challenging for the league/CL place.

With that in mind I'm probably not expecting a Hua Hin victory today but it will be interesting to see how we compare with one of the stronger teams from our division. Hopefully see a few of you there!

Yes, I'll be there. Out of interest, we all know the shortcomings (and there are a few) of our new stadium. Personally, I have decided to sit directly opposite the (not very) Grandstand because IMHO you will be able to see most of the pitch from there. Just wondering what others are planning, and why.

The season ticket offer seems to have died completely.

I hadn't really decided or given it much thought, think I was just gonna go with the flow so to speak.

Yourself and GD have been there checking out the stadium more than me, so I may be tempted to take your word for it and sit in there as well. Certainly some of the pics of the view from the other (grandstand) stand didn't look good.

Nowhere gives a 100% view, but I think it is the best option. Hopefully the ferocity of the sun (not this week :D ) will have eased a bit in time for the later K.O.

Not sure but I would imagine with the proximity to the big hill to the west of the stadium that the sun will be behind the hill by 5:30......

Yes, today will be a learning experience for everybody. Of course, Mrs BB's seat will probably be determined by where they sell the best chicken or meatballs :?
