Very much so - I hadn't watched much of Leicester before recently.

The best team always wins the league title.
Leicester are 7 pts clear with 6 games to go, so I think they have a fair claim to being the best team in the league at the moment.

I have to respectfully disagree there. With the best attacking record and the best defensive record, top goal scorer, best central defender(s), best young midfielder and most players in England's starting 11, I have to stick to my guns and say that Spurs are the best team in the league right now.

Mind you, I am looking forward to Leicester playing in the Champions league next year.

I'm not a Leicester, Spurs or Arsenal fan - I think results probably speak volumes about who the best team in the league is, so I've posted them below.

Leicester started the season as one of the fittest teams in the league and have maintained a high level of fitness throughout. They chase everything, never let up and often come from behind to win. On the occasions I have seen them play this season, I have been impressed, deserved leaders and I hope they go on to be Premier League Champions.

I think it's fair to say that over the last month or so, Leicester have not played with quite the same intensity as they had done for most of the season, plus their two main scorers Vardy and Mahrez have not been anywhere near as prolific, but that in many ways enhances their overall team performance in that they've still been getting the results, albeit not quite as emphatically as before. Almost all neutrals and even a number of opposing supporters are hoping they stay the course and lift the title next month - me included.

Its certainly true that the best team doesn't always win but over a season of 38 games results tend to even themselves out.
The last couple of months Leicester haven't been as good to watch but,fair play to them,they have kept grinding out the results and you cant argue with 7 points clear with 6 matches to go.
The Spuds probably are the best team in the EPL now (probably the most attractive to watch,as well) but they had a lacklustre start to the season,which looks like costing them,and you have to admire Leicester who have just kept on going throughout the season with the minimum of resources compared to the bigger clubs.

Worth remembering that most teams have worked Leicester out by now and that the expected fall from grace never happened. It's not stopping them winning, but they're having to grind those results out now and all credit to them for doing so.

Agree with all the above, but it still doesn't make them good to watch, whether you're a neutral or a North Londoner...
Huth the Hoof - done a fantastic job for Leicester, but would he even be on the bench at any of the other top sides?

Whether they win or not, it will be very interesting to see how they cope next season, playing more games, with much higher expectations, and having to handle the top European sides.

My guess is that if even if they avoid relegation, they'll finish somewhere in the bottom half of the table.
Having said that, it must be fantastic to be a Leicester fan right now. Thank God we don't have any on the forum...

Doesn't really make much difference. They'll have long been forgotten about in roughly 12 months time.

Of course, I suppose it depends how you define 'best', and gooners probably have difficulty with that these days...

Of course the best team doesn't win every match, but you have to be the best team to win the league title.
Defining best as being the most consistent, getting results and racking up the points over the whole season.

Leicester's title charge is going to set a dangerous precedent. Feck playing football - buy some speedy strikers and a decent midfielder and just whack it up to them. We're turning back the clock.

Look how Drinkwater played in an England shirt. A little below average. Why? Because the 'get it and give it to someone faster' mentality wasn't played against Holland. Maybe it should have been with the starting 11 that Roy chose? What do I know?

I didn't watch Leicester properly at the beginning of the season so maybe I'm missing out on something. I've watched bits of them over the last 4 months and, in all honesty, it's been 'bits' because I've usually turned over to whack some 'Bargain Hunt' on the telly instead (always been a big fan of that - sue me).

I can watch Arsenal play all day long... City, United and the Pool too. I like watching football. Football being the key word here.

Maybe I've just watched the wrong matches with Leicester. I don't know.

It's nice when you are spot on with football predictions. Makes you feel all warm inside.

Leicester's achievement is admirable. Always nice to see a no-hoper up in the mix. Swansea did it a few seasons ago (or was it last season). Leicester will finish 6th or 7th as the season goes on. They simply don't have the squad to compete. Adrenaline can only go so far unfortunately.

What a lovely weekend of footy. First of all the Arse can only manage a draw and then we give Manure a good rogering at the Lane.
Congrats to the Foxes they’ve got a place in Europe next season.

We missed Lamela against Liverpool. He's a hugely important player for us and it showed in tonight's game.

United only managed a single shot at goal (which should have been a certain goal). A bit pathetic that. I don't rate Ashley Young at all - never have, never will. He's also got one of those faces that you wanna see slapped hard with a wet kipper. A real undesirable lad from what I've read about him, too.

Leicester have it in the bag now anyway. They'll keep plodding along from now to get the trophy.

Spurs just need to continue showing that they're the best team in England. Forget about the trophy for this season.
