Very amusing Terry, almost as funny as "mind the gap" comments a few seasons ago. Still time.

Re: Premier League 2015-2016
I`m not one to be pedantic, but, to say "the ball hit the back of the net" is incorrect. The back of the net is the one facing the spectators behind the goal. Another phrase that doesn`t sound right is "Spurs to finish above Arsenal"

Arsene Wenger's trophies at Arsenal:
FA Premier League (3): 1997–98, 2001–02, 2003–04
FA Cup (6): 1997–98, 2001–02, 2002–03, 2004–05, 2013–14, 2014–15
FA Community Shield (6): 1998, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2014, 2015
Never outside the top for in EPL, 17 consecutive times qualified from the group stages of CL.
Now, what did you get for Christmas, Terry?

Re: Premier League 2015-2016
I was just watching a re-run of an interview under Sporting Greats featuring Tony Adams, he was speaking about the arrival of Arsene Wenger, he change the club philosophy from a drinking culture to a new diet regime which prolonged the career of many players at the time. He did say though that Wenger was not the best coach but his way won Arsenal a lot of trophies. Now other clubs have followed his lead so Arsenal no longer have that advantage. This begs the question of many pro-Wenger fans, do we need a new coach to carry us forward?

Wenger and his philosophies have been dated for a decade.
He is tackidly inept to win major trophies as his playing philosophy is one dimensional.
Surely the fact that Spurs are looking at finishing above us this season is evidence enough that the old man no longer knows how to perform in modern football.
He has to be replaced.

INCREDIBLE - I, along with thousands of other football supporters, would love to see my team do as badly as the Arse. The man has an incredible record - be grateful, you could end up with somebody like LVG or even Ian Hollowhead
With whingeing supporters like you lot, the Arse don't actually deserve success. Be grateful for what you have.

Undoubtedly your best post yet, BB. I agree with you on both counts:Big Boy wrote: With whingeing supporters like you lot, the Arse don't actually deserve success. Be grateful for what you have.
1. The Arse don't deserve success
2. They should stick with Wenger

This is the way

Deserve success??
As fans we have to listen to how the club's management and board views the club as part of Europe's footballing elite.
It sets the precident for high ticket prices etc.
However actions speak a whole lot louder than words and the image that Arsenal's board and management try to portray is far from reflected by the team's on field success.
If managemt simply admitted that on field success is not the number 1 priority then I for one could accept that a top 4 struggle followed by a last 16 exit in the champions league was a successful season.
Management sets the bar high but the only accountability seems to be a solid balance sheet and a hefty annual profit for the owner.

So if the Arse get somebody new at the helm, how can you be sure he can better Wenger's brilliant record? I might be wrong, but probably only Sir Alex has bettered that in a similar time frame. You should feel blessed that you've got a great manager at the Arse. How many other teams try to buy success and fail?
Wenger's success has come at minimal costs compared with many teams.
I'm sure when he goes, you'll get what you deserve. Ungrateful does not say it strongly enough.

I think the whingeing supporters boil down to Just Henry 14th

Maybe, but I'm sure I've read other Arse supporters advocating the Wenger must go route. Be careful, you might get what you wish for.

Well he's already said he'll still be there next season, so it's all a bit academic really. I for one, am thrilled he's staying.

Arseanl will not win anotuer major trophy whilst Wenger is in charge.
Considering that the club are portrayed (by its board) as an elite club that level of ambition is a fallacy.
The old man and his ways will have to retire at some stage, why prolong it further?
The whole philosophy behind groundhog day is repetition.

It's not Plymouth Argyle, so I don't really care, but you haven't said who would replace him. We've seen good teams try to replace legends - very few succeed.
