Decent lemonade at Big C.

OK folks, how many of you have tried drinking Sprite & other brands of lemonade here & found them all far to sweet, & not even refreshing..?
Well quite by accident I raided our kitchen fridge today & found a half-litre bottle of lemonade that was Big C's
own brand...cracked the top & glugged away
BUT..this drink is quite sharp, yes it will have sugar in it..but was very refreshing, with a good after-taste..
Now I'm not a person who readily puts soft drinks in my basket/trolley when shopping, but may make an exception
for a six-pack of this drink, look for the bottle with a lemon on the wrapper,& 'yellowy pop' inside...ice-cold it hits that spot..

Schweppes Soda Manao is nice and without the sugar

It is really difficult to find anything here that doesn't contain a ton of sugar, so we make our own manao soda with (yes, you've guessed it) soda and one squeezed lime. It even tastes quite nice if you add a bit of salt, and even nicer with a splash of gin. Mr.VS drinks it when he's on a diet as a beer replacement.

I do the same but use the lime/lemon juice from the plastic lime/lemon thingies (that look like a big lime/lemon) also bought at Big-C..

I always make my own, called lager limeonade.
Squeeze one lime into a glass, add one ice cold, Singha Gold and stir.

Damn, it's tangy.

^^ I haven't seen Gold in at least 10 years. Any Gold probably would be "tangy" by now. Cheers.

^ Yup, I miss that Gold beer. Have to use the ordinary Singha now, or, heaven forbid, Heineken.
